STUDENT ATHLETE
The same qualities that defined my path in cheer — preparation, patience, executing under pressure — are the qualities I intend to bring to research.
*GPA and class rank recalculation in progress — update coming shortly.
*Actively preparing for summer 2026 retake — score expected to improve.
I am pursuing chemical or biomedical engineering with a focus on the biology and chemistry side — the place where engineering meets living systems.
My goal is a doctoral program where I can work on problems that matter at the molecular level. The same qualities that defined my path in cheer — preparation, patience, executing under pressure, staying ready for the moment when it arrives — are the qualities I intend to bring to research.

Associate of Arts — In Progress
Through the LSC-CyFair Dual Credit Partnership with Cy-Fair ISD, Emily is on track for 60 college credit hours by graduation — an Associate of Arts earned while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, competing more than once at the Cheerleading Worlds, playing flute in Symphonic Winds, and serving as an officer in three organizations. She will enter college eligible for sophomore standing at most institutions, with fully transferable college credit hours.
Dual credit courses count as Advanced-level coursework on the Cy-Fair ISD weighted GPA scale — Emily's 6.7407 weighted GPA reflects consistent excellence across college-level coursework, not just high school classes.
Where Engineering Meets the Mat
Academic scholarship note: Emily qualifies for automatic admission at UT Austin and Texas A&M under the Texas Top 6% Rule (ranked top 2%, 16/795). She is a strong candidate for institutional merit scholarships at every school on this list — independent of any athletic program funding.
